thisIdea has a great deal of experience in setting up and optimizing the popular CandyPress shopping cart. CandyPress is very powerful, and will allow you to:
- Manage products through an intuitive administrator interface
- Integrate with multiple payment gateways, no coding knowledge required
- Generate real-time shipping rates from USPS, UPS, and more
- Send newsletters to customers in plain text or HTML format
- Create customer discount codes, track user reviews, and much more
However, without tweaking, it will not let you:- Target newsletters to specific groups of customers based on their activity within your store
- Log user searches to help you optimize your product mix and marketing strategy
- Optimize your pages for Google indexing, a key to generating traffic to your store
- Perform bulk updates of order status or product details, which can become very time consuming if your store generates many orders
